Guide to Adding a New Bank Account

Finans Takibi allows you to add your different bank accounts to the system to manage your financial data on a single platform. This guide explains step by step how to add a new bank account.

Note: Before adding a new bank account, you need to select the currencies you want to use. You can read our guide for this.

To Add a New Bank Account:

1. Log in to Your Account: First, log in to your Finans Takipi account.
   
2. Go to the Bank Accounts Page: After logging in, click on the "Bank Accounts" option from the left menu. On this page, you can view your existing bank accounts and add new accounts.
   
3. Add a New Account:
   - Click on the "Add New" button in the upper left corner of the page.
   - In the form that opens, you will be asked to enter information about the bank account you want to add.
   
4. Enter Bank Information:
   - Bank: Select which bank your account is in. You can search by typing.
   - Currency: Select the appropriate one from the ones you have selected on the Currencies page.
   - Account Type: Select the appropriate one from the deposit, checking, and investment types.
   - Name: Enter a name that suits how you want to view your account. We recommend that you do not enter data such as IBAN.
   - Account Balance: Specify the current balance amount in your account.
   - Account Opening Date: After your account is added, an account opening transaction record will be created for the amount you entered in the Account Balance field. If you want a record for a past date, you can select a date (this is optional, you can leave it blank if you wish. If you leave it blank, the date you added the account will be selected).
   - Interest Rate (if the Account Type is deposit account): Enter the interest rate of your term account.
   - Interest Type (if the Account Type is deposit account): Enter the interest type of your term account as a number. Example: If it is 32 days, 32, if it is 46 days, 46, if it is daily, 1, etc.
5. Save Account: After entering all the information, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. With this transaction, your new bank account will be added to the system.
6. View Accounts: The account you added will be listed on the "Bank Accounts" page. From here, you can edit your accounts, add new transactions, or view account details.

Note: After adding your accounts, you can track all your financial transactions related to the relevant bank account on Finanstakibi.com and manage your income and expenses in detail. You can be sure that all your transactions are recorded securely.
