Adding a New Credit Card Guide

Finans Takibi allows you to add your different credit cards to the system to manage your financial data on a single platform. This guide explains step by step how to add a new credit card.

Note: Before adding a new credit card, you must have added the bank account that your credit card is connected to. You can read our guide for this.

To Add a New Credit Card:

1. Log in to Your Account: First, log in to your Finans Takibi account.
   
2. Go to Credit Cards Page: After logging in, click on "Credit Cards" from the left menu. On this page, you can view your existing credit cards and add new credit cards.
   
3. Add New Credit Card:
   - Click on the "Add New" button located in the upper left corner of the page.
   - In the form that opens, you will be asked to enter information about the credit card you want to add.
   
4. Enter Credit Card Information:
   - Bank Account: Select which bank account your credit card is connected to. You can search by typing.
   - Name: Enter a name that suits how you want to view your credit card. We recommend that you do not enter data such as credit card number.
   - Debt: Indicate the current debt amount of your credit card.
   - Debt Limit: Indicate the total debt limit amount of your credit card.
   - Account Cut-Off Date: Indicate the account cut-off date of your credit card and the day of the month. Your current credit card debt will be calculated according to today and provided as information.
   - Account Opening Date: After your credit card is added, an account opening transaction record will be created for the amount you entered in the Debt field. If you want a record for a past date, you can select a date (this is optional, you can leave it blank if you wish. If you leave it blank, the date you added the credit card will be selected).
5. Save Credit Card: After entering all the information, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. With this transaction, your new credit card will be added to the system.
6. View Your Credit Card: The credit card you added will be listed on the "Credit Cards" page. From here, you can edit your credit cards, add new transactions, or view credit card details.

Note: After adding your credit cards, you can record and track all your financial transactions related to the relevant credit card on Finans Takibi, and manage your debts and payments in detail. You can be sure that all your transactions are recorded securely.
